Winston is a rough coated Collie who has had digestive problems for the entirety of his short life, between the vomiting, poor stool quality, obvious lack of absorption of nutrients, and inability to keep on weight, he has been a less than happy dog. My cats have always had hairballs. I’ve had them on a raw/grain-free mix diet for a few years now, but every once in a while they go on a vomiting binge and I find hairballs with lots of yellow fluids all over the house.
